Beck's Beer Settlement
Beck's Beer

Here’s a news flash: Beck’s Beer is not really brewed in Germany, though it claimed to be brewed in Germany and charged premium prices based on that assertion. Pursuant to a settlement in late 2015, consumers can obtain cash refunds from the brewer, Anheuser-Busch, even without proof of purchase.

In late 2013, a man named Francisco Rene Marty filed a class action suit against Anheuser-Busch Companies LLC, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. The suit alleges that Beck’s is brewed in the United States, that the defendant misrepresented to consumers that Beck's Beer is brewed in and imported from Germany and priced the beer as premium imported beer, that the Defendant’s actions violated consumer protection laws of Florida, New York and California, and that Defendant was unjustly enriched.

Without admitting any fault, Anheuser-Busch settled the case and consumers can benefit from the class action settlement.

First, go to the Anheuser-Busch settlement site here: https://www.becksbeersettlement.com/Home.aspx

Second, file your claim online using the button(s) on the left side of the screen or by regular mail.

Third, file your claim by November 20, 2015.

Fourth, you must be a resident of the United States.

Fifth, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE PROOF OF PURCHASE, you can claim up to $12.00 refund per “settlement class household” for:
