Mr. Vargas was a construction worker who sued a scaffolding company after the company's truck made a sharp right turn, ran over a construction zone cone, and crushed Mr. Vargas' ankle. As a result, he developed chronic regional pain syndrome, a painful lifetime condition that permanently disabled him from physically-demanding work. The defense offered $75,000 to settle, despite Mr. Vargas' medical bills totaling over $250,000. The Vargas family contacted Randolph & Associates to help.
